Formula E arrives in Brooklyn for the inaugural Qualcomm New York City ePrix on July 15 & 16. Formula E will host the first ever race to take place within the five boroughs of New York City in modern history at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal.

The Electric Street Racing Series has landed in the Big Apple in the safe hands of New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz.

 
 

Tickets

Tickets for the Pier 11 Main Grandstand (blocks 1A & 1B) are now on general sale. These grandstand tickets will offer assigned bleacher seating, with a clear view of the main straight, where cars will reach top speeds entering the hairpin, and a big screen where fans can follow the action around the circuit.

Allianz eVillage

Formula E doesn’t stop when the cars aren’t on track, there’s always something for you to see and do. Away from the track, you can entertain yourself at the Allianz eVillage fan zone. This is an entertainment area aimed at the whole family. 

Inside the eVillage, you will have the opportunity to get up close with a variety of fantastic displays and activities, ranging from the latest electric vehicles and hybrid cars and racing simulators. In addition to the latest and greatest in technology products there will be a wide choice of food and drink stands as well as fun Kid activities for children of all ages.

Meet the drivers

In the eVillage, you will have the chance to meet the drivers at the autograph session and witness the raw emotion of the podium ceremony. If you rate your driving skills, you can get behind the wheel of a racing simulator to win the chance to go wheel-to-wheel against the actual Formula E drivers during the eRace, which takes place in the build-up to the main event.

 
 

Circuit

The 1.21mile (1.947km) track features 13 corners and is set against the iconic backdrop of Lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty.

 
 
 

 

HOW TO GET THERE

 

The site has three entrances:

E1: The intersection of Ferris & Sullivan

E2: Pier 11 near the Atlantic Basin Ferry Landing

E3: The intersection of Imlay & Pioneer St

 

SUBWAY (click here for map)

The closest subway stop is Carroll Gardens/Smith St. Take the F train (orange line) to Carroll Gardens Station. There will be a free event shuttle from this station. 

From Manhattan you can take the 4, D, N, Q and R train to Barclays Center Stop and take a free event shuttle to the venue.

Planned Service:  

G train will run to Hoyt - Shermerhorn but not to Church Ave.  It will serve Fulton St, a short walk to Barclays Center.

The 2 & 3 trains are not operating outside of Manhattan.

RIDESHARE (click here for map)

Dropoff will be on Dikeman St. between Ferris & Conover St.  There will be no parking or long waiting area for rideshare cars. All traffic must keep moving.

SHUTTLE BUS (click here for map)

Barclays Center: Guest pick-up is at the bus load in area on Flatbush.  

Carroll Gardens: Guest pick-up is on the corner of Smith St / 2nd Place.  

DROP-OFF / PICK UP AREA at VENUE: The bus drop-off pick up area at the venue is closest to e1 entrance. If you have tickets, proceed to the gate. If you need tickets, proceed to the ticket booth at Ferris & Dikeman.

Buses will run continuously throughout the day from each location
Saturday:  7:30 am - 7:00 pm
Sunday: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm

CAR

There is no parking on site or around the area.  We strongly advise you not to drive to this event.

BICYCLES (click here for map)

There is a free bicycle valet at 202 Coffey Street.  Please make sure you take proper care around event traffic.  Bicycles can not be left overnight.

CITIBIKE

The Citibike station on Conover and Coffey street will be attended in order to allow more guests to ride Citibikes to the event.  Please note this station is the only attended Citibike station.

PUBLIC BUS

The B61 public bus route takes you through Red Hook to downtown Brooklyn (click here for inbound map) or to Park Slope (click here for outbound map)
